AFJ (American Friends of Jamaica) accept offering from VWT
The AFJ ( www.theafj.org ) have happily accepted VWT's offering of their preferential rate package which is only available to selected charitable causes.
Based in New York, The American Friends of Jamaica was established in 1982 as a 501C(3) organization to assist Jamaican charities. Since then it has given grants to Jamaican education, health and human-development institutions worth over $10 million in cash and kind. American corporations with commercial interests in Jamaica, American winter residents, and members of the diplomatic corps helped serve as the basis for the AFJ.
The AFJ boasts an impressive list of honourees including; Ralph and Ricky Lauren, Hon. Robert Nesta Marley, Harry Belafonte, Ronald Reagan, and Jamaica-born billionaire and philanthropist Michael Lee-Chin.
